Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Lake Stevens, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for various bid packages for Elementary School #8, located at 29th ST NE and Lake Drive, Lake Stevens, WA 98258. The bid packages include: BP-04.1 Masonry, BP-06.1 Casework & Finish Carpentry, BP-07.1 Metal Panels, Siding & Flashings, BP-07.2 Roofing, BP-08.1 Aluminum Window Systems & Glass, BP-09.1 Metal Framing & GWB, BP-09.2 Acoustical Ceilings and Treatments, BP-09.3 Flooring, BP-09.4 Tiling, BP-09.5 Resilient Athletic Flooring, and BP-09.6 Painting, Coatings & Sealants. A bid bond amounting to 5% of the base bid is required for bids exceeding $300,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for all packages $300,000 or more. Bid documents are available through Building Connected at Cornerstone General Contractor’s plan room or by direct email request. All bids must be submitted on the specified bid form and fulfill the instructions to bidders. Bids must remain valid for 90 calendar days. Faxed bids, bids not on the proper form, or those not fulfilling requirements cannot be accepted. Cornerstone General Contractors, Inc., is acting as construction manager, not as a general contractor, and public bidding rules apply. Bids are welcomed from all interested subcontractors and suppliers, including Small, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disadvantaged, Veteran, Disabled Veteran, and HUBZone business enterprises.
