R. H. Tyson Construction, Inc., as Construction Manager, is accepting sealed proposals from Subcontractors for Phase 1 Sub-Packages of Glyndale Elementary School Replacement. The project includes new construction of an approximately 126,000 SF building to serve as the replacement for Glyndale Elementary School. A portion of the site work is being completed under a separate contract. Sitework included in this project will include connections and adjustments to site utilities, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, and concrete sidewalks. A listing of Phase 1 Sub-Packages and scopes of work for each is included as a part of this Subcontractor Request for Proposals. Proposals must be submitted on the Proposal Form issued as part of this package. All proposals must indicate the Sub-Package(s) being proposed and include a completed and signed Subcontractor Qualification Form, unless one has been previously provided. Proposals that exceed $50,000 are required to list the cost to provide 100% Payment & Performance Bonds for 100% of the Subcontract Value. The Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive technicalities and formalities, and award the work in the best interest of the Owner. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on the date of opening. Full details and documents are available from the Construction Manager.
