Site work, paving and new construction of an educational facility in Brunswick, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 126,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
R.H. Tyson Construction, Inc., as Construction Manager, is accepting sealed proposals from Subcontractors for Phase 2 Sub-Packages of the Glyndale Elementary Replacement. The project consists of new construction of an approximately 126,000 SF building to serve as the replacement for Glyndale Elementary School. Portions of the site work are under separate contract, but this project includes connections and adjustments to site utilities, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, and concrete sidewalks. A listing of Phase 2 Sub-Packages and associated scopes of work is included in the Subcontractor Request for Proposals. Sealed proposals must be submitted on the provided Proposal Form by the specified deadline and must indicate the Sub-Package(s) being proposed, along with a completed and signed Subcontractor Qualification Form unless previously submitted. Proposals exceeding $50,000 must include the cost to provide 100% Payment & Performance Bonds for the full Subcontract Value. The Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities and formalities, and award work in the Owner's best interest. No proposal may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening.
