Contractors are invited to submit a lump sum bid for the Rabun County Courthouse Renovation construction project. All needed finish site work, retaining wall, paving, curbs and gutters, concrete and masonry, mechanical, electrical, painting, plumbing, sheetrock, flooring, and all other scopes of work needed for the Rabun County Courthouse Renovation are included in this package. Building will be constructed per plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the bid package Proposal Form along with a 5% bid bond. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the stated office after the submittal deadline. A thorough review of the bid package description and bid documents is required prior to submitting bids. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the building site. The information for bidders, form of bid, form of contract, plans & specifications, and forms of bid bond, performance and payment bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the location provided. Reproducible PDFs of all bidder documents will be emailed to qualified bidders who request them. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
