The City of New Rochelle seeks proposals from qualified energy and engineering firms to evaluate the technical feasibility of and develop an optimal financing and implementation strategy for photovoltaic system (PV system) installation at the New Rochelle Transit Center (NRTC) Garage. The work will assess the garages structural capacity, provide technical guidance on the optimal integration of solar panels and any feasible Distributed Energy Resources (DER) elements into the project, and develop bid materials for elements selected for implementation. Notice to Proceed: Anticipated Q4 2025 - Q1 2026. Draft Deliverables: 4-5 weeks from NTP. Final Deliverables: 7-8 weeks from NTP. All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail, no later than Noon, October 7, 2025 to kconca@newrochelleny.gov The City will post the answers to the questions received on the City's website no later than 4:30 p.m., October 10, 2025. The City reserves the right to amend the RFP based on questions and issues raised at any time prior to the RFP submission deadline. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
