Sarpy County prefers all questions be submitted through the electronic bidding program. 156TH STREET: CAPEHART ROAD: This item shall include all work necessary to perform earthwork construction in order to bring the initial roadway grading back to the final roadway grading elevation in areas where settlement has occurred and shall meet material requirements and construction methods of Section 201 - Excavation and Embankment of the City of Omaha Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2024. Settlement monitoring is to be provided by Owner. 2. It is anticipated that approximately 4000 Cubic Yards of earthwork will be required to accommodate the settlement on Capehart Road and proposed 156 th Street locations. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying the necessary material to complete this work. If excess material is available on site, it may be used. If material is to be brought from off site, a sample will be required for analysis of suitability. 4. The estimated settlement amounts and periods necessary for these locations, as well as settlement monitoring process are described in the Geotechnical Report for the project.
