The Western Virginia Water Authority is requesting sealed bids for an annual contract for stone and stone delivery for the Field Operations Division. The successful vendor shall furnish and deliver specified stone as stated in the Bid Form on an as-needed basis for a set unit price per ton. The successful bidder(s) will enter into a one-year contract to provide these goods and services, with the possibility of renewal for two additional one-year terms if both parties agree. Bidders must submit two complete copies of the sealed bid by the stated deadline. All responses must be clocked in at the office by the deadline and clearly marked with the BID number and title on the envelope. The BID form must be completed and signed. No faxed bids will be accepted. All responses and pricing should be submitted in a sealed envelope or package. Deviations or alternates to the specifications must be submitted in writing and clearly identified in the bid; any not stated in the bid may result in disqualification and nullification of the order.
