The project entails street maintenance improvements within various locations of the City of Riverside. The project generally includes but is not limited to cold milling of existing deteriorated asphalt pavement, the application of ARAM; CSPB; resurfacing asphalt pavement with DGAC; slurry sealing streets, repairing damaged concrete sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, curb/gutters, and cross gutters; with the replacement of traffic striping; and signage enhancements. This project also includes excavating existing alleyways, transporting, and installing asphalt millings from another location within this project. Any questions, interpretations, or clarifications, either administrative or technical, about this Bid must be submitted via "Q&A" through the City's Electronic Bidding System, PlanetBids Vendor Portal. All written questions posted on the City's electronic bidding website, and Proposers identified as "Prospective Bidders" on the City's website will receive a notification via email. The final date and time to submit questions shall be 10 days prior to the bid opening date. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all licenses necessitated by the Contractor's operations. Prior to starting any work, the Contractor shall be required to have a City of Riverside Business Tax Registration valid for the life of the Contract; subcontractors shall also have Business Tax Registrations valid for the time they are engaged in the work.
