There may be a common wall for either or both buildings. The Building should be removed without damage to either building. The Building was formerly a car dealership with a con-crete ramp and a parking level. The roof has collapsed, and the north wall is close to collapse. The successful bidder is asked to design and formulate a plan to take the Building down in a specific manner as follows: Bid for demolition and removal of all parts of the Build-ing which have collapsed including the north wall; Bid for demolition and removal of the entire Building: Bid for demolition and removal of the entire building but retaining the concrete ramp and concrete 2nd floor (parking level); Bid for demolition and removal of the entire building ex-cepting retaining the facade (south wall) with additional bid to buttress or support the south wall; Bid for any other method of demolition and removal of all or any part of the Building but removing all parts which constitute a nuisance. With the preceding provisos, the City desires Demoli-tion and removal of the Building ("Project Site") and de-posit in an approved disposal facility. Completely fill out the contract and fill in the contractor's name, bid amount and execute by authorized representative and place in sealed envelope marked "demolition bid/THE BUILDING AT 216 WEST BLACWELL and deliver or mail to City Clerk at the above address before the end of time for the receipt of bids. The City will contract with the lowest responsible bidder or may reject all bids or take other action in its best interest.
