**As of November 26 , 2025 , This project has been awarded to Piedmont Paving, Inc. for $295,300.70.** Scope of work includes construction of curb and gutter, pavement resurfacing and storm drainage system modifications. Last day to submit questions/ requests for clarifications: October 28, 2025 Responses issued: October 31, 2025 Inquiries: Michael Klahr Director of Engineering mklahr@newnanga.gov The bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount. If the award is made, the successful bidder shall furnish, within fifteen (20) calendar days after receipt of the signed Acceptance Agreement, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. The City of Newnan is prepared to begin work and a Notice to Proceed will be coordinated with the selected Contractor; 180 days to substantial completion. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Any sole response received by the first submission date may or may not be rejected by the City, depending on available competition and timely needs of the City.
