The Board of Supervisors is seeking sealed bids from qualified and experienced roofing contractors for the repair or removal and replacement of the roof system at the Township municipal building. The selected contractor is responsible for supplying all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project as specified. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: repair and restoration or removal and proper disposal of all existing roofing materials down to the structural deck; inspection of the roof deck for any damage or deterioration, with replacement of compromised decking as required; installation of a new roofing system (e.g. 60-mil TPO, EPDM, or standing seam metal) according to manufacturer’s specifications and applicable building codes; inspection of existing insulation to meet a minimum R-value of R-30ci; installation of new insulation if necessary; repair or installation of all required flashing, copings, edge metal, and accessories; repair or installation of a new gutter and downspout system; site clean-up and proper disposal of all construction debris; and provision of all required permits and inspections. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the RFB number. The bid package must include a completed Bid Offer Form with a detailed cost breakdown, a project timeline with estimated start and completion dates, proof of liability insurance and Workers' Compensation coverage, documentation proving the contractor is a certified installer for the proposed roofing system, a list of at least three professional references from similar projects completed within the last five years, and proposed warranty terms for materials and workmanship.
