Any contract or contracts awarded under this NoOce to Bidders are expected to be funded in part by financial assistance from the TWDB. Neither the U.S. Environmental ProtecOon Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this InvitaOon for Bids or any resulOng contract. This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of 33 U.S.C _1388 for Clean Water State Revolving Fund projects or Public Law 114-113, Consolidated AppropriaOons Act, 2016, or subsequent appropriations acts, for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund projects. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submittng a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. There is NO charge to view or download documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. A Certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of WESTWOOD SHORES MUD or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder of an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
