Notice is hereby given that the South Bay Union School District of San Diego, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, is seeking quotes from qualified construction contractors for the construction of the following public works project. License Information: License Requirement: C-7 - Low Voltage Contractor Contract Dates: 7/1/26 - 9/30/27, with optional one-year extension in case of delays On-site construction dates: 7/1/26 - 9/30/27. This project includes all labor, equipment, and materials needed for providing a complete networking infrastructure system according to the specifications and drawings provided. This project requires a C-7 license. The District intends to obtain maximum funding discounts under the Federal Communications Commission's E-Rate program for eligible services procured as a result of this project. Qualified vendors must provide a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Registration Number (FCC-FRN) with the proposal, and vendors must be willing to accept payment and provide billing per the terms of the E-Rate program. This is a public works project. Contractors should use prevailing wage to determine the labor costs. Contractors and subcontractors must have a DIR registration number. The successful quote must provide a Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety.
