Scope of Work: The Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center located at 1400 Noyes St, Utica, NY 13502 is seeking a vendor to replace problematic electronic sliding doors that provide kitchen access in Building 64, the main inpatient facility for children and youth. The current doors have exceeded their useful life and have become difficult to maintain due to obsolete parts which are difficult to source. Facility staff report ongoing issues and struggles to keep these doors operational, which impacts the security and daily operations. The selected vendor will be expected to: 1. Remove existing doors, framework, and mechanicals 2. Prepare openings and make any modifications to accept new doors and opening equipment. 3. Install new metal frames and doors to replicate the current setup 4. Mount and connect all mechanical opening devices, including electrical connections 5. Verify proper operation 6. Turn over any old equipment the facility requests (doors or mechanicals) 7. Repair any damage to walls, floor or ceilings that occur during installation 8.
