Includes but not limited to the renovation of the existing pool, plaster, tile, decks and drainage. Provide new waterproof surge tank and gutters. New scoreboard and lighting. ADA upgrades to current locker rooms. All work must be performed by properly licensed contractors and subcontractors with active licenses in good standing as of the date of receipt of bids. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bidders are required to verify their Contractor's License number and license expiration date on the bid Proposal Form under penalty of perjury. The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments, as per Public Contract Code 22300, is permitted. Bidders are advised that these contracts are public work for purposes of the California Labor Code, which requires payment of General Prevailing Wage and compliance monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations.
