Pavement rehabilitation of Camino Pablo Pathway from Orinda Way to Claremont Ave. The project is on the "top 10" list of Orinda's Bicycle, Trails and Walkways Master Plan. The City will use the requested funding to repair the pathway, as well as to widen it, creating greater pedestrian connectivity in a community that lacks many pedestrian amenities. This pathway connects residents in North Orinda to the Downtown and abuts a recently completed pathway improvement on the north end to the Wagner Ranch Elementary School. Rehabilitation of a portion of the Pathway, between Claremont Ave and Los Amigos (Orinda Playing Fields) was recently completed (FY 2024-25) using TDA grant funds. In response to the City's TDA grant application, this Project was awarded $120,000 in July 2021, which was utilized to rehabilitate that portion of Pathway. In March 2025, the City Manager submitted a federal appropriation request for this project through elected officials. As of this writing, no grants have been awarded and Project will be on hold until grants are received. The project is included in the City's 2026 - 2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 29, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
