MOBILIZATION- By nature of the scope of this contract the contractor will need to mobilize to different areas at different times throughout the duration of the project. All costs associated with such mobilization(s) shall be included with the unit costs of the work to be performed, unless provided otherwise in the construction documents. VARIOUS LOCATIONS - The scope of the resurfacing program consists of resurfacing and/or rehabilitating various roadways throughout the City. The locations and limits are detailed in the construction documents. The nature of the work requires multiple mobilizations to various locations in order to complete the work throughout the project. The contractor should determine the most efficient means of scheduling and coordinating their work and the work of their sub-contractors. Coordination notes or interim completion dates may apply to specific streets or areas as listed in the construction documents. The contractor may be required to adjust proposed phasing and schedule in order to coordinate with other projects or community events. The City of Columbus (hereinafter City) is accepting bidsfor Resurfacing - 2025 Project 1, C.I.P. No. 530282-912025 the work for which consists of the repair and resurface 86 city streets and construct 243 ADA curb ramps along those streets. The work consists of milling the existing pavement, overlaying with new asphalt concrete, minor curb replacement, replacing identified curb and sidewalk areas associated with installing ADA curb ramps. The resurfacing work includes areas of full depth pavement repair, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, plans at 1911 DR. A and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB).
