Site work for a water / sewer project in Crest Hill, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Sanitary Sewer Cured-In-Place Pipelining improvements. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. A certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, or bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid is required with each proposal as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and properly secured if the proposal is accepted. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, postpone the bid opening, or advertise for new proposals. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates and comply with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Bidder qualifications and experience will be considered in determining the lowest responsible bidder. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification must be submitted to the Engineer prior to obtaining a bid package. The Engineer and Mayor and City Council reserve the right to deny issuance of a proposal if the applicant is deemed unable to serve the best interest of the City.
