Question Deadline 04/13/2026 Questions must be submitted by COB email directly to mshrader@valdeseng.com. The project provides for the complete renovation of the NRC Dietary Building, including but not limited to replacement of the dietary's roofing system, repair and/or replacement of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems servicing the dietary area, and replacement of food service equipment. Bids must be submitted either through the CDB's e-Builder Bidding Program or, in case of technical issues, via an alternative file transfer system as instructed. No faxed, in-person, or mailed bids or bid modifications will be accepted. Bidders are required to log into the e-Builder Bid Portal, enter bid amounts for the Bid Form, upload required documents as PDFs, and enter organizational data as requested. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure all required documentation is attached in the portal. In the event of technical errors, bidders must submit a screenshot of the error for further instructions. Failure to comply with submission instructions or to properly list and prequalify protected subcontractors may result in bid rejection. All protected subcontractors must be prequalified with CDB. Deficiencies related to subcontractor prequalification may be cured within seven days of notice by substituting a properly prequalified subcontractor, and this will not affect the bid price. Additional instructions include compliance with prevailing wage requirements, required prequalification with CDB, certification or registration as MBE/WBE/PBE/VBE as applicable, and certain documentation and disclosure requirements.
