The Texas A&M University System (A&M System) is seeking bids for the purchase of the Corning optical cable and other items specified in this Invitation to Bid for Texas A&M-RELLIS located in Bryan, Texas. For items 1.2 through 1.15 in this Invitation to Bid, substitutions are not allowed as the A&M System is not considering alternates for these items. Bidder must quote the specific manufacturer and part number listed. For item #1.1, bidder may submit an alternate manufacturer for this cable for consideration by A&M System. Note that the A&M System may choose to award to one bidder for all items, or as a split award to no more than two bidders. Bids must be submitted electronically, with late bids not being accepted. Any questions must be directed via email or through the Q&A section. Bidders are required to attach an itemized quote for each item, including delivery lead-time, and bid pricing must remain firm until all items are delivered and accepted. Any charges not specified in the invitation for bid are the responsibility of the bidder, and no additional costs can be added after bid submission. Delivery lead-time may influence the award decision, and shipping terms should be quoted F.O.B. Destination unless otherwise specified in the quote. A HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) must be submitted with the bid. Failure to submit required documents or certifications may disqualify the bid. The evaluation and award will be based on criteria including specifications, pricing, delivery, shipping and payment terms, and vendor history with the system and relevant state entities, as well as other factors deemed relevant by the system.
