Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bradenton, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 22,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; 22,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.

The scope of work requires Construction Manager at Risk Services from qualified Construction Management firms for two phases. Phase 1 is to construct new Collegiate School buildings on the SCF Venice Campus, approximately 22,000 GSF, including academic space, administration, cafeteria, auditorium, courtyard, and a physical educational area, with a project budget of $16 million. Phase 2 is to construct similar buildings on the SCF Parrish Campus, also approximately 22,000 GSF, with a project budget of $16.9 million. The project delivery method will be Construction Management at Risk, selecting a single firm for both phases through the CCNA process. Funding and contracts for each phase are separate. The College will use the same building design for both schools, adapting it as needed for the Parrish site, and anticipates efficiencies in cost, quality, and schedule by doing so. Applicants must be licensed General Contractors in Florida and, if a corporation, registered with the Department of State, Division of Corporations. Firms must apply in writing and submit required information, including the firm's abilities, workload, past educational facility experience, and resumes of key personnel. Ten original proposals must be submitted, including an Experience Questionnaire and a bonding company Letter of Intent. No electronic submittals will be accepted. The College will not be responsible for any delays in delivery.
