Scope of work to primarily include the following: Construction of a Reinforced Concrete Box and associated work near the intersection of 5th and Orchard. Any bid received by the City Clerk more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, or any bid so received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the bidder submitting same. No bid may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 45 days after the date set for the opening of bids. ach bidder is required to submit with their bid a guarantee in the form of an acceptable bidder's bond, a certified check, or a cashier's check on a solvent bank in the state of Oklahoma, and in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall execute a contract within 14 calendar days of Notice of Award by the City. A contract embodying the terms set forth in the bidding documents shall be executed by the City/SUA within 60 days of the award of the Contract. The successful bidder shall file a performance bond, maintenance bond, statutory bond and certificates of insurance in the statutory amounts for public liability and workers compensation insurance at the time of signing the contract. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process.
