Meet in the Saugus Public Safety Building entrance at 27 Hamilton Street, Saugus, MA 01906. Project includes site work, roof replacement, interior building improvements and HVAC, Electrical and F.P. system improvements. Project subject to Mass Prevailing Wage Laws. Town of Saugus bidding for General Contractor services and Filed Sub Bidders in accordance with current MGL Chapter 149 Contracts $150K and $10M. Phasing: 1. Demo existing door and install new electrical panel in future radio room to enable temporary dispatch operations. 2. Prepare temporary dispatch operations in second floor Training Room, including equipment relocation, tel/data, and E911 cabling. 3. Relocate dispatch operations to temporary location in Training Room. 4. Complete Radio Room and Dispatch Room Construction. 5. Complete installation of permanent dispatch operations in Dispatch room. 6. Return training room to its original condition. 7. Work at Maraia Lane site to be completed concurrently with work at the Public Safety Building to ensure continues radio communications operations throughout construction duration.
