Selective Window Replacement at Heritage Heights Elderly Housing Development. Direct Questions regarding the website or project distribution to online. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. Selective replacement of 142 existing aluminum windows with new fiberglass windows in 100 residential units and 42 Common Area windows, at the Heritage Heights Elderly Housing Development, including all related work as indicated in the Drawings and Project Manual. B. Provide Alternate price for the following items of work in accordance with Section 01.23.00 - Alternates: Alternate No. 1 - Selective replacement of 9 additional existing aluminum office windows including all related work as indicated in the Drawings and Project Manual. Increase in time for completion of 5 days. C. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. D. Additional Selection Criteria: 1. General Bidders must meet the additional selection criteria stated in Article 8 of the Instructions to Bidders. 2. If the Awarding Authority (Owner) cannot verify compliance with the additional selection criteria from the apparent low bidder's Update Statement, the Awarding Authority (Owner) or its Architect may request the bidder provide additional documentation demonstrating compliance with the Contract requirement. This may occur after the general bid opening, but prior to the Contract Award. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price.
