Saugus American Legion building is a two-story wooden structure with partial basement serving as a meeting place for local service men and women. The 1st floor houses a small kitchen equipped with a gas stove and hood for the purpose of preparing food and utilizing as a warming kitchen for the 2nd floor meeting/rental space. This HVAC project includes but is not limited to replacement of a nominal 5-ton existing split air handling system serving the 2nd floor, addition of cooling system to the 1st floor specifically but not restricted to the 1st floor kitchen and meeting space as well as replacement of the 2nd floor ceiling and lighting systems.
