Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Decatur, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project includes clearing, grubbing, construction of sidewalk curb and gutter, pavement, grading, and drainage improvements. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to City of Decatur, AR in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The City of Decatur, AR encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, The City of Decatur, AR encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time, which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
