Sprinkler System Inspection Services: Bidders must submit electronic bids through the specified portal after registering in the vendor database. Bids must include a bid bond, certified or treasurer's check for 10% of the base bid payable to the Town of West Hartford. Performance, labor, and material payment bonds for 100% of the contract price are required if the contract exceeds $50,000. No bids may be withdrawn for 90 days after opening without written consent from the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and make awards as deemed most beneficial. Blasting is not permitted. All construction waste and demolition materials must be legally disposed of at an approved site, and excavated material cannot be disposed of on West Hartford property without permission. The Town's transfer station accepts yard waste for a fee only.
