Main Street Norfolk, VA 23510 Email: richard.dempsey@norfolk.gov Phone: (757) 266-9760 Question Submission Deadline:May 19, 2026, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline:May 26, 2026, 5:00pm This Project Includes the Removal and Replacement of the City of Norfolk Pump Station No. 27 Building and Appurtenances Located at 101 and 107 North Shore Drive and Its Replacement at the Adjacent Lot 107 North Shore Drive. All Existing Dry Utilities Will Be Removed. The Existing Force Main Shall Be Removed From the Existing Pump Station Site and Gravity Sewer on Site Shall Be Abandoned With Flowable Fill. The Existing Force Main Within City Right of Way Up to the Proposed Connection Point Shall Be Abandoned in Place With Flowable Fill or Removed When in Conflict With Proposed Work. This Project Includes the Installation of a Triplex Pumping Configuration, on-site Permanent Bypass Pump, Emergency Pump Suction and Discharge Connections For Temporary Bypass Pump, Force Main Connection to Existing 20" Force Main, Wet Well, Dry Well, and Station Building, Flow Meter Vault, Splitter Box, Replacement of Impacted Storm Sewer, Sanitary Sewers Required for Flow Reconveyance From Existing to Proposed Site, and All Associated Site Improvements: Grading, Landscaping, Site Bollards, and Fencing. Discrepancies, omissions or doubts as to the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be communicated in writing to the Owner for interpretation.
