Fayetteville Public Works Commission manages and controls various pieces of equipment and has approved the sale of equipment by sealed bid. The surplus transformer shipment #678 consists of one (1) 3-Phase Vault, totaling 500 KVA. The Commission will accept sealed bids for this equipment. All bids received shall be opened in public and the amount of each bid announced and recorded. The Commission reserves the right to withdraw the equipment from sale at any time and the right to reject any and all bids, waive all informalities concerning a bid or award a bid to the highest responsible bidder. The successful bidder must remit payment within 30 calendar days from the bid award. Forms of payment accepted are wire transfers, certified checks, or money orders. The successful bidder must arrange and perform all necessary transportation to ship, and/or remove the items. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays. Pre-qualification requirement: In order for a bid to be considered, the bidder must be pre-qualified to dispose of transformers.
