The Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) is soliciting responses from qualified vendors for the purchase of Environmental Services to be used by our school sites. REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION: October 6, 2025, 5:00pm The District reserves the right to make its selection based upon its best judgment as to which proposal substantially complies with specifications set forth in this RFP document and at its sole discretion may make multiple awards, sole awards or no award at all. Firm shall be responsible for the following scheduled and as needed services: Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments and Testing 3 - Year AHERA Inspection Reporting Mold Evaluation. Remediation and Reconstruction Asbestos Abatement, Testing and Inspection Lead-based Paint Testing and Abatement Services Bidder agrees that if the services are not completed in strict accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents it is understood, acknowledged and agreed that the District will suffer damage. Since it is impractical and infeasible to determine the amount of actual damage, it is agreed that the District shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages in the amount incurred resulting from the Vendor's breach. All proposals and other materials submitted become the property of the District and are public information, (except for financial information). District reserves the right to use any ideas or documents presented in any response to the bid. Selection or rejection of the bid shall not affect this right. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept or reject any item, to withdraw a line item or entire RFP, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding. The District may award any, all or none of this RFP. Any resultant award by the Board of Education will be by Section to the lowest responsible bidders in accordance with PCC 20118.1.
