**As of December 1st, 2025, the project was awarded to Southeast Connections, LLC with an awarded amount of $990,349.82.** For the furnishing of material, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and installation of: Relocation of existing 6 HP main in Hwy 301 to clear conflicts with GDOT project for construction of a passing lane. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the above address for the City of Statesboro and to the attention of Darren Prather, Director of Purchasing. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA OQ Plan. The Work covered by these Specifications consists of and includes the performing of all operations and the furnishing of all plant, labor, material, supplies, equipment, and other facilities and things necessary or proper for or incidental to the construction and testing of natural gas distribution facilities, all complete, tested, accepted, and connected to the existing gas system. All Work shall be done in accordance with requirements of the CFR Title 49 Part 192 "Transportation of Natural and Other Gas By Pipeline: Minimum Federal Safety Standards," as amended, and any applicable Standards which are hereby incorporated in these specifications by reference. Install approximately 8,000 feet of 6" HP Steel gas main, approximately 3,500 feet of 4" PE gas main and 8 services to clear conflicts with construction of a passing lane on Hwy 301/SR 73 Bidder agrees to commence work under this Agrecement on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed of the Owner and to fully complete the work within 365 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date.
