Paving and renovation of a stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,700-square-foot, one-story above grade stadium.
Agency Small Business Participation Goal 50% A. Work includes complete removal of existing roof system and the installation of a new flexible sheet membrane (fully adhered) roof system complete with new insulation, flashing, and other accessories as indicated and required for a complete, watertight roof system. B. New 30-year roof system. C. Contractor to have Manufacturer make site visits for this installation, at start-up, interim and final (for warranty approval). D. First layer of permanent flashing is to be installed by end of each days work. Tearoff no more than can be installed Watertight each day. E. Install new curb rails for heat pump units. The project is generally described as the removal of the existing roof system (approximately 14,700 square feet) and the installation of a new flexible sheet membrane (fully adhered EPDM) roof system. This includes new insulation, flashing, and other accessories, along with all associated work required for the completion of the project. Bidders are instructed to consult the solicitation documents for details regarding the mandatory pre-bid/proposal conference or site visit and for any additional requirements.
