Renovation of an educational facility in Blacksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Work includes removal of all existing roof components as indicated on the plans. A. Full tear-off of entire roof system to the existing roof deck, including all roof layers and associated flashings. B. Remove lightning protection system, safely store for re-installation. C. Contractor MUST coordinate work with Owner in areas around cellular antennas. Agency Small Business Participation Goal 50% Question Deadline 10/28/2025 at 5:00 PM ET The Deadline for Request for Information (RFI) shall be. All RFIs must go to the Procurement Officer, Kim Widrig, at kdcromer@vt.edu. The project is generally described as removal of 14,500 SF existing roof system to the roof deck and replacement with a fully adhered 90-mil roofing system complete, including all associated work required for this project.
