Virginia Tech purpose and intent of this RFP is to 1) establish a Term Contract with a qualified Offeror to provide professional architectural and engineering services for roofing, waterproofing and insulation on an “as-needed” basis pursuant to Project Orders issued during the term. These services may include investigations, studies, reports, designs of small projects, as well as related services; and 2) to ensure the timely availability of such services, thereby reducing Virginia Tech’s cost and time for advertising and developing numerous RFPs, and generally increasing the University’s efficiency in obtaining professional services. The work involves providing architectural and engineering services for roofing, waterproofing, and insulation at any Virginia Tech owned, leased, or occupied property throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Bidders are required to submit proposals electronically via Virginia Tech's procurement portal, registering through the portal hosted by Jaggaer prior to the proposal submission deadline. The proposal should include the signed Offer Cover page, completed and signed Forms AE-1 through AE-6, and any other data as required. Offerors must be properly registered and licensed with the Virginia Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation. Submittals must fully comply with Virginia Tech Campus Design Principles. Hard copy or email proposals are not accepted, and late proposals will not be considered. Attachments must be smaller than 50MB.
