Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Blacksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

Work includes installation of new metal decking complete in place as directed by the Owner to overlay rusted/deteriorated roof deck, specified herein, and needed for a complete and proper installation. The amount of new decking overlay to be documented and paid based on based on 100 SF to be included in the base bid PART B (UNIT PRICE # 1). Agency Small Business Participation Goal 50% The Deadline for Request for Information (RFI) shall be 5:00 PM on October 27, 2025. All RFIs must go to the Procurement Officer, Kim Widrig, at kdcromer@vt.edu. Removal of the existing roof system (approximately 2,500 square feet) and the installation of a new flexible sheet membrane (fully adhered EPDM) roof system complete with new insulation, flashing, and other accessories, including all associated work required for this project. Solicitation only accepts paper responses.
