Dorchester County (the County) invites qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide On-Call Inspection and Quality Control Services for Road, Drainage Infrastructure, and Sidewalk/Multi-Use Path Projects throughout the County . Perform inspections and quality verification for roadway, drainage, and sidewalk/multi-use path construction. Confirm that all construction and materials conform to County and SCDOT standards. Develop and maintain project-specific Inspection & Quality Control Documentation Reports, signed and sealed by a South Carolina Professional Engineer. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document provides background and general information for Respondents and should be used in the development of proposals. Dorchester County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineering and inspection firms to provide inspection and quality control services for various County infrastructure projects. These include roadway, drainage, and pedestrian/multi-use path construction projects associated with development, capital improvements, intergovernmental agreements, and infrastructure upgrades. The initial term of any contract derived from this solicitation shall be ONE (1) year from the date of contract execution by the County.
