The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to deliver 1000 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate to Oak Narrows Public Water Access on Lake Vermilion, spread said aggregate on footprint called out in Map Exhibit F, grade, and pack aggregate in 4" lifts, and including: _ Before delivering and placing material, prep site by grading out washboards, potholes, or any other issues in the project footprint that will negatively affect the final product. _ See Map Exhibit F for the footprint, highlighted in red (page 51). _ Deliver 1000 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate to Oak Narrows Public Water Access on Lake Vermilion, spread said aggregate on footprint called out in Map Exhibit F, grade, and pack aggregate in 4" lifts. _ Class 5 Aggregate shall be in accordance with MnDOT SPEC 3138. _ Aggregate compaction shall be in accordance with MnDOT SPEC 2105.3.F.2, Quality Compaction Requirements. _ Perform grading throughout project as needed; final product shall be packed to MnDOT SPEC 2105.3.F.2 Quality Compaction Requirements. _ Contractor is responsible for placing "Access Closed" signs during this project work. _ Contractor is responsible for placing "Trucks Hauling" signs on highway at least 200 feet before PWA entrance. _ Gopher One locate is the responsibility of the contractor. _ One year warranty on work. _ Keep grader and compaction equipment on-site until final walk-through and project completion.
