The selected firm will provide Construction Management at Risk Services for a complete renovation to the Historic Florida Governor's Mansion located at 700 North Adams Street in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. The work will cover both the main building (11,894 square feet) and the Cabana/Garage (2,737 square feet). This will include all tasks necessary for a complete interior and exterior renovation/restoration of the buildings, which encompass selective demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression systems, interior finishes, elevator and dumb waiter, and the total exterior envelope. The project requires strict adherence to historic preservation standards and coordination with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on safety and security measures. The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the bidding and construction of the project and must ensure the completion of work on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality and historic preservation standards. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes (F.S.), or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, F.S. Any protest concerning an agency decision or intended decision must be timely filed with the Agency Clerk. Evaluation of the firm will follow the criteria set forth in Rule Chapter 60D-5, Florida Administrative Code and section 287.055, F.S., and as outlined in the Construction Manager Selection Form to be used by appointed evaluators.
