Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available from Remington & Vernick Engineers upon payment. Bids must be submitted using the prepared forms, in sealed envelopes with the bidders name, address, and reference to the work, and delivered to the Municipal Clerk prior to the bid opening date and time. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the bid (but not exceeding $20,000), and a certificate letter from a surety company agreeing to provide the completion bond. The Township reserves the right to consider the bids for 60 days after receipt, reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and make awards as may be in the Township's best interest. Bidders must comply with all relevant New Jersey statutes and regulations regarding affirmative action, prevailing wage, public works contractor registration, business registration, and stockholder disclosure. Only bids delivered to the designated address will be accepted; bids may not be picked up or dropped off at the engineer's or municipal offices.
