Installation of park amenities including but not limited to accessible pedestrian walking path, recreation courts, pavilions, bandshell, parking lot expansion, sediment basin conversion, and landscaping. Bid security by Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via PennBID in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Bidders must comply with all Pennsylvania antibid-rigging regulations and submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and PA statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project. Bidders and subcontractors are required to utilize the Federal Governments E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work are authorized to work in the U.S. All bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The PA Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date. Silver Spring Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, or informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids deemed in its best interest, and to reject any or all proposals.
