The project involves the roof replacement of approximately 15,400 +/- square feet of existing roofing at the Norton Highway Department Building, 84 East Main Street, Norton, MA. The work must be performed in accordance with the specifications and contract documents prepared by Building Envelope Analysis, LLC and the awarding authority. Bids must include a 5% bid security in the form of a bond or certified check. A payment bond for 100% of the contract price is required from the successful bidder. Bidders are required to comply with applicable Massachusetts General Laws and minimum wage rate requirements. All bids should be submitted in accordance with the specified procedures and requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids when deemed in the best interest of the Town. Permit fees will be waived by the Town of Norton. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Building Envelope Analysis, LLC. A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on site; other site access may be arranged by appointment. All bids shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days after the opening of general bids.
