Renovation of a multi-residential development in Norton, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Awarding Authority has elected to CANCEL this bid. The project consists of the removal of existing tiled bathtub surrounds including substrates and insulation to bare wood stud framing, removal of existing shower/tub valve, diverter, shower head, and tub spout, and modification to existing plumbing to install a new shower head system, tub spout, and mixing valve with integral diverter. New insulation, vapor barrier, cement board, and maintenance-free one-piece wall-surround assembly including integral double corner shelf are to be installed, with the existing bathtub to remain. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in General Building Construction, submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility, and a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the specified trades and include current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidders Update Statement. All bids must be submitted online and be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount. Participation benchmarks for minority and women business enterprises and workforce participation rates are specified. No waivers will be granted after the bids are opened. The work is estimated to cost $201,139.92.
