The Work included in this Contract generally consists of a new potable water booster pumping station to serve a portion of the Clift's Cove area. The project will consist of the following components A. Skid-mounted booster pumping station (pre-purchased by Owner) B. Booser pumping station building construction C. Booster pumping station water piping and connections D. Booser pumping station natural gas generator and service line E. Booster pumping station miscellaneous site work. F. 500 LF 8" ductile iron water main G. Electrical construction H. SCADA Construction Question Deadline 10/30/2025 The Engineer will review and respond to each RFI within seven (7) days of receipt of the RFI. The Engineers review may include a request for additional information, in which case the Engineer will respond within seven (7) days of receipt of the requested additional information. The work to be done under this Contract by the Contractor, at his/her own cost, shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, documentation, facilities, transportation, services, testing, and equipment, and of performing all work, necessary to construct and fully complete the project entitled Clift's Cove Booster Pumping Station, Krebs Project 23029.03 all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications and with the requirements and provisions of the Contract Documents. The Contractor's scope of work under this Contract is not limited merely to physical construction and related services, material, or equipment, but also includes the totality of all of the Contractor's obligations (e.g., including insurance, indemnity, and warranty obligations) under or arising from any of the Contract Documents A summary of the work items is included below: The project generally consists of constructing a new pump station building for the installation of an Owner-furnished pre-fabricated water booster pumping station. The Contractor will be responsible for building construction, pump station installation, miscellaneous site improvements, and water main piping and connections. The project also consists of 500 LF of new 8-inch ductile iron water main interconnecting two areas of the water distribution system. The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made; and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Madison Utilities Board in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the state licensing board for general contractors must be licensed under the appropriate/applicable provisions of state law, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Engineer; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
