The project generally consists of the construction of: The project generally consists of improvements to an existing school campus consisting of: Remove existing chain link, sleeve new line posts over existing galvanized line posts where possible, grout and/or button weld new post to existing. Seal weld with rubberized matching black paint. Install new 1", black, vinyl coated mesh, including top and bottom rails as noted in contract documents. All hardware to be black. The Contractor is responsible to ensure the campus remains secured at all times. Contractor to haul away all debris. See bid documents for more information. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents and accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, or certified check, or cashier's check in favor of the Saugus Union School District or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders must deposit the original of the Bid Bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the mail on the same day as the bid opening. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
