Renovation of a day care center in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade day care center.

Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than 7 days before date set for receipt of bids. Sealed bids will be received for supplying all labor and materials necessary for performing the services for the Multi Site HVAC Renovation Project for Westside Head Start Center. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a certified bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed in Mississippi and signed by an agent resident in Mississippi. Bid documents are available via electronic copy, requiring registration at www.mc3lroyarchplans.com. A complete copy of plans and specifications may be inspected at the Architect's office. Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Orders 11246 and 11375 (prohibiting discrimination in employment), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Davis Bacon Act. Bidders must furnish a certification of prior work under Executive Order 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity). Contract award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, and the Hinds County Human Resource Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
