Renovation of approximately 1,590 square feet within the existing Radiology Department to support installation of a new Philips interventional radiology (IR) machine, Philips CT machine, associated control room, and support spaces. Work includes rooms F20, F21, F22, B14D, B14C, F25A, F-25, a section of B14, F24, F23A, F23, and a 79-square-foot unnumbered room. The project also includes full renovation of 1,205 square feet of vacated IR space--rooms E5B, GA, E5, E5A, E6, and E7--to accommodate relocated Radiology administrative services. Tasks include disassembly, packing, and shipping of existing IR and CT equipment that has exceeded its service life. Construction must comply with current JCAHO, NFPA, ICARA, OSHA, and life-safety standards and must be performed without disrupting medical center operations. Work encompasses all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and related mechanical, structural, electrical, demolition, and plumbing activities required by government-provided plans and specifications.
