Site work for a water / sewer project in Newton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for the Water Distribution System - East Reynolds Street Replacement project in Newton, Illinois. The work includes, but is not limited to, approximately 1,130 linear feet of 8-inch PVC Directional Bore, installation of 2 hydrants, 11 gate valves, and 10 service replacements. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the Owner, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in the amount equal to 5% of the total bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period identified in the contract documents for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
