Renovation of an office development in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,500-square-foot, one-story above grade office development.
Sealed General Bids are requested for a heating system upgrade at 29 Albany Street involving the installation of new gas-fired unit heaters and selective demolition of existing systems for a 13,500 SF building. Filed Sub-Bids are required for plumbing and electrical sections. Contractors must hold a Certificate of Eligibility from the Division of Capital Asset Management in the appropriate categories and for a single project amount greater than the estimated cost. Bids must be accompanied by a copy of the contractor's Certificate Form CQ7 and update statement. The project classification is HVAC. The minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries must be observed. All bids are subject to the General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A to 44H, inclusive. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids if deemed in the City's best interest.
