Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. Working plans call for site work for a one-story above grade municipal facility.

The City of Claremont seeks proposals from qualified environmental consultants or laboratories to perform asbestos and hazardous materials testing at 127 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH. The selected contractor shall conduct a comprehensive asbestos survey of the building (interior/exterior) per EPA NESHAP and NH DES regulations, collect representative bulk samples of suspect materials and maintain proper chain of custody, perform laboratory analysis (PLM/TEM) for asbestos content through accredited labs, test for other hazardous materials including lead paint, PCBs, and universal wastes as applicable, provide a written report with findings, quantities, material conditions, and abatement recommendations, and attend meetings or provide clarifications as needed. Proposals must include a summary of at least three similar projects completed for municipalities, including dates and contact information for references. Proof of the required insurances must be provided by the successful contractor. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope or electronically as specified, and must be received by the stated deadline. Proposals will be evaluated on completeness, qualifications, services, and cost to determine the best value.
