The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful contractor must execute a one hundred (100%) Surety Performance and Payment Bonds. The Original Bid Bond Must Be Delivered to the Contracting Officer at the Address Above Prior to the Bid Opening or a Bid Will Be Deemed Non-responsive. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 120 Days From Bid Opening Date. The project is needed to meet the State operating permit and consists of constructing a supplemental bulk sodium hypochlorite storage, containment, dilution, and conveyance system at the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant. Includes site preparation, demolition of an existing monitoring well, relocation of utilities, and installation of a reinforced concrete pad with secondary containment and drainage. Project Duration: 540 Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, 600 Calendar Days to Final Completion, plus a 60 Calendar Day Contingency Period.
